Letter from the President Catania, Italy (March 16, 2022)

Dear Colleagues, The XVI meeting of the Association of Ocular Pharmacology and Therapeutics (AOPT) will be held August 10-14, 2023, in a hybrid format, including presentations in person and online. The Association expects to accommodate roughly 125 talks and an equal number of posters in sessions that are of high interest and value to our international membership. In order to do this, we are asking for volunteer moderators to help design sessions and recruit speakers. Requirements of Volunteer Moderators: • Must be a member of AOPT in 2022 • Must be able to participate in planning sessions. • Able to propose a session topic of high interest and value to AOPT • Able to recruit at least 2 speakers to the proposed session • Able to attend the XVI AOPT meeting either in person in Shenyang China or online (August 10-14, 2023) Volunteer service will consist of video and/or phone calls with the Meeting Programming Team, along with individual work to invite abstracts from speakers. Volunteers will obtain points towards recognition as an AOPT Fellow (FAOPT). Volunteers will be considered until September 30, 2022.
