Letter from the AOPT President (October 12, 2022)

Dear Colleagues, The history of the world and our everyday life is undergoing profound changes due to international events. This has not left the AOPT board insensitive, as it follows with constant attention the events that concern us and that have an impact on the scientific activity of the Association. I therefore have an important announcement to give you. The next AOPT Congress, scheduled for August 10-14, 2023, will take place simultaneously in two different venues: Shenyang, China and Indianapolis, USA. In this way, the AOPT board wanted to expand the possibility of participation in the congress to the largest number of attendees from all over the world. The program will therefore be much broader than that envisaged for a single venue (more than 120 talks) and it will be possible to participate both in person and online. More details on the program and on how to register and send scientific contributions can be found on the AOPT website. I hope that you will all appreciate the effort that the Association is making and that you will participate in large numbers in our Congress. Best regards,
